WHAT IS A FINANCIAL COACH?
One of the questions you may be asking is simply this- what is that you do? To answer that I wanted to talk about financial coaches in general, how they differ from some other financial professionals, and what our services specifically look like.

General Practices of a Financial Coach - As you would expect, financial coaches guide their clients through a number of financial principles and tasks. For example, they may discuss with clients how to set up a system for tracking cash flow, a debt payoff strategy, or how to structure their net assets in a way that helps them pursue their goals. Ultimately it starts with understanding what a client's goals are and their specific pain points and then putting a plan or structure in place to help them alleviate that stress.

Financial Coach vs. Financial Advisor - Generally speaking most financial advisors are investment advisors while most financial coaches are not registered investment advisors. This means most financial coaches cannot give specific investment advice about securities. This also means most financial advisors end up focusing on helping the affluent maximize their financial resources while financial coaches are helping individuals put the financial principles in place that will get them to the place where they need assistance maximizing financial resources.

Our Services -Through ongoing financial accountability, we want to help our clients bring order to their finances and put into place a plan that helps them increase their monthly financial margin. We do this through 30 minute virtual financial coaching calls. The calls are not group calls but just you and the financial coach working together. We start by putting together a one page financial summary document:

After establishing some order with the one page financial summary, we seek to establish an understanding of your ongoing cash flow and the elements needed to accomplish your financial goals.

What I keep telling myself is- People need help. We can help. The vast majority of people don't need an investment advisor.
